The Horde played against a strong select side from SARFC smarting from a tough loss against the Blacks just a week prior. SARFC looked determined to make a strong showing and they did. With acommanding lead of 33-5 going into the second half led by Coach Cliff Davidson and new addition to the team Calvin Johnson putting on some athletic moves on the boys from Austin.
With the beginning of the second half it looked like the Horde had caught their breath and led the scoring with 3 consecutive tries in the first 20 minutes of the second half. The boys in red and black finally got their game and put the moves on the Horde with 4 tries in the last 20 minutes after coming back to their original game plan led by the forward pack. With smashing crashes up the middle drawing the defense in and disciplined ball retention the Armadillo's finally put the cap on the Horde with a stunning 54 to 33 victory.
