San Antonio Touch Rugby League -2009 at Olmos Basin Park

Who can participate? Open to the public for anyone willing or wanting to try out a new sport.

Rules: Official international touch league rules. Each game will have a referee.

Number of Teams: Tentatively 6-8 Teams(upto 10 players per team)

Season: League games will be played on Thursday nights on two fields. Each team is to play 2 games per night. All potential players must notify Manuele prior to the draft 5:00pm June 3rd-or email the following people for info: Dennis at leahyde@us.ibm.com, Tim Cone at tcone@themajestic.com, Jason Martinez at jmartinez@thelyndco.com and Jay Arbizu at jacarbizu@hotmail.com or jacob@jayarbizu.com  . The draft announcement will take place at 6:30pm on June 4th at the field. First round of games start immediately thereafter Thursday June 4th. Playoffs begin July 2nd and Final Match and party on July 9th. With enough interest-Season II begins July 23rd with Finals August 27th.

Cost: $30 per player per season with Team T-Shirt included . "NO STEPS ON THE FIELD WITHOUT DUES PAID IN FULL!" Make checks payable to San Antonio Rugby Club and give to Treasurer-Jason Martinez.

Administration: The league will be administered by a league commissioned and sanctioned by SARFC. All decisions by commissioner regarding disputes will be final. SARFC and commissioner will assume no liability for players safety or injury. All players must provide for their own insurance.
